Tonneau from the back.

Finally got a chance to install my fiberglass tonneau cover. Still planning to mount a second gen handle in the tonneau and shave the tail gate.

Freshly painted tonneau and black rims

I got some plasti dip for my birthday so i decided to see what the truck would look like with black rims. I think i looks way more agressive, I would love to see what it would look like with all the chrome black.

First burnouts with the caltracs on

After i got the LT1 swap done and started having some fun on the street i noticed that i would get bad wheel hop all the time. I ordered a set of Calvert Caltracks to help with the wheel hop.

After I got the Caltracks installed i went for a quick test down the street. Here's a picture or the results.  I set the Caltracks to 0 pre-load and that was enough to eliminate all of the wheel hop!

First door panel installed

I installed the passenger door panel which was re covered and has a set of Jl c2-650's. I made a How To for recovering the door panels upper and lower sections. If your interested in how i did it please follow the links below

Caltracs installed

I got the Calvert Caltracs installed on my truck this weekend. Took about and hour and a half to drop the rear end and get all the hardware installed. The instructions provided were very clear and made installation easy.

Pictured above are the Caltracs installed. I purchased their regular setup with two mounting points making the brackets really close to the ground. I should have ordered the low profiles ones but i think I'm going to just move them to the upper position and cut the lower mounting point off.

Working on the door panels

Fiberglass speaker pods i made for the bottom of the door panels, My original plan was to smooth the door panels and glass these in but i ended up just covering them with leather to match the rest of the door panel.
